All I did for the past hour was speak into a radio and constantly repeat “zero…….one”. We were testing some alarms. Basically, when an alarm goes off, I will see it on the screen and I say “zero” to confirm that, and when it goes away, I say “one” to confirm. It was actually the busiest I’ve been out here since I got here Monday, but it was monotony at is finest. I didn’t mind though, because you’d be surprised at how fast time flies while you’re constantly repeating “zero…..one”. We got over a hundred points checked out in less than an hour – you really can’t beat that. Especially seeing that some days we get through ZERO points in an entire 8 hour day.
Did I mention that I am actually getting paid to do this? Wow. You gotta love America.
