The Beginning of a Beautiful Thing

The Beginning of a Beautiful Thing

20-6….is there anything else that is needed to be said? How about 252-65…that would be the advantage in rushing yards for the Falcons…I mean, simply put, damn! I mean, this game was really all about the defense and the newly acquired John Abraham, he was an absolute beast, terrorizing Delhomme and the Panthers. He laid the wood on anyone and everyone. The defense had 15 fantasy points, I don’t even know if there was a game last year where they had that many. Like last year, the fans have to be weary of this game, just like how last year we dominated the Eagles and then fell apart midway through the season. That WILL NOT happen this year again (unless there are some major injuries), but we fans have to take this victory with a grain of salt and realize that there are 15 more games to play. Like I said, the Falcons will win the NFC south. People (the media, The Hamster) don’t want to give the Falcons credit for the victory, the critics are saying that the Panthers didn’t play well and that they didn’t have Steve Smith, so they lost. It’s ok, it feels good to fly under the radar for once and it just feels like the beginning of a beautiful thing.
